Sheriff Keith Slape reports that on the 24^th day of April 2014, Deputies with the Newton County Sheriff’s Office traveled to a residence in Mount Judea and subsequently arrested Jeremy Ryan Freeman on an outstanding warrant of arrest for charges of 3 counts Rape Class “Y” Felony and False Imprisonment Class “C” Felony with bond set at one million dollars.                  
While serving the arrest warrant on Jeremy Ryan Freeman Deputies arrested Zackary Roger Freeman, 23 of Mount Judea and Chelsea Campbell, 18 of Mount Judea .  Both Freeman and Campbell were found to be harboring the whereabouts of Jeremy Ryan Freeman.  Both Freeman and Campbell are facing charges of Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution Class “B” Felony and are currently incarcerated. 

Sheriff Slape wants to thank the public for their efforts that resulted in Freeman’s arrest.
