Hunting violations lead to felony arrest

Cpl. Shawn Smith of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission was conducting an investigation of road hunting in the Shiloh community when he observed the odor of marijuana on the two people he was interviewing. Sheriff Keith Slape said that on Monday, November 23, Roy Wade 47, and his son Aaron Wade 21, of Jasper was arrested by deputies and game and fish wildlife officers for possession of a control substance with intent to deliver ( marijuana), possession of drug paraphenelia, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms and numerous game and fish violations.
